Laddie Guy Shane

President & Founder - Roosevelt Strategy Group

Over the course of his career, Laddie has advised elected officials, candidates, political action committees, Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit organizations, trade associations, developers, and public agencies on some of Arizona's most complex political, policy, and public affairs challenges. His experience spans campaigns at every level of government, ballot-measure advocacy, stakeholder engagement, crisis communications, public-opinion strategy, and coalition building.

Laddie has managed and advised successful campaigns for federal, statewide, legislative, county, and municipal offices, while also leading independent expenditure efforts, political action committees, and issue advocacy campaigns. He has developed winning voter contact, communications, and grassroots engagement strategies that have helped shape elections and public policy throughout Arizona.

Before founding Roosevelt Strategy Group in 2022, Laddie served in the administration of Arizona Governor Doug Ducey from 2015 to 2017. During his tenure, he held several leadership roles in policy, public affairs, and constituent engagement before being appointed Director of Constituent Engagement and Appointments. In that role, he oversaw more than 2,000 gubernatorial appointments and directed statewide outreach between the Governor's Office, Arizona residents, community organizations, and state agencies.

Laddie has also dedicated significant time to civic and nonprofit leadership. In 2024, he was elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Irish Cultural Center and McClelland Library Foundation, where he has helped guide the organization's strategic growth, governance, fundraising, and community partnerships.

In 2023, Laddie was selected as a participant in the inaugural European Union–United States Emerging Leaders Visitors Programme, traveling to Brussels, Dublin, Belfast, and Dungannon to study democratic institutions, peacebuilding, and reconciliation on the island of Ireland.

Laddie is a graduate of Arizona State University and lives in Phoenix with his husband, Blake, where they remain active in civic, charitable, and community organizations throughout Arizona.
